Add facebook to your website!

I found this, this morning, while looking for a contact form for my facebook page. This is really neat! I have uploaded it here to show you. The first page is the facebook app. It's quick to install. All you do is type your info in the box and then click on it! Then you just go to your blog or website, choose the HTML option, and then paste :) LOVE easy stuff like this!

To get the app, go here:

Then this is my website. It's still being put together, which is why I haven't been "bragging" about it. If you'd like, feel free to leave me some feedback. I've never made one before and anything is helpful :D
That link will bring you directly to the app I installed on my blog this morning! :) I'm loving it!

Okay, I'll be back later with some crafty ideas :D

Stamped Recipe Cards with a Vintage Retro Flair

I love these cards! They are created on recycled index cards and I've hand stamped EVERYTHING and I've even hand aged the edges.

They are a traditional sized index card, but I think the most tiring part was stamping the backs! lol. All those lines!!! I got about halfway through and I thought to myself "What was I thinking?" But they're done now and I am happy with the look. They have a certain charm to them.

Want to know how to make them? I am sure you can probably figure it out by looking, but I'll give you the brief version :)
1. I figured out what color index cards I would like to use
2. I purchased the Fiskars stamps to do these
3. I then stamped "From the Kitchen Of" on the front and either a fruit, vegetable, etc.
5. then on the back, I took my mere 2 inch dotted line stamp and stamped twice going across
6. I then hand aged the edges in a light brown. You can find the tutorial HERE on how to do it!
These particular index cards measure 4 inches by 6 inches.

Free printable tags

Right click and save to pc. Then you can print as many as you would like. I've added the location where you will punch your hole. If you would like, feel free to edit these to suit your needs if necessary (for example, you'd rather not have the holes for twine, etc.)

Cute as a Button Layout

Cute as a Button Layout

This is a double page layout featuring cute little bears and the theme of "Cute as a Button." The title is hand embroidered in a light yellow and I have hand drawn and pieced my little bears. The edges of the layout and photo mats have been hand aged with ink to give a lot of detail.

On the FIRST page there are two photo mats. Above the first photo mat starts the hand embroidered title and behind the second photo mat are two double sided pull out tags with a hunter green tulle attached to the tops. There is a darker gold satin ribbon wrapped around each photo mat that your photo will slide easily behind. On the first photo mat there is a little heart charm. There is my little bear under the first photo mat and he is holding a big button. There are 3 dimensional flowers with 3D pearly centers.

On the SECOND page there are also two photo mats. Above on the first photo mat there is a little silver metal charm that reads "Precious." There are 2 inch borders at the top and bottom also. All items used are af, lf and archival safe.
