Well the other day I did a whole "give me a suggestion" and I got a few really good ones too! However, I only have enough time in the day for one at a time.... I already did the free vintage St. Patrick's Day Images and Clipart (and you can find that here) - Another one was for some free spring printables.... So that's what today's post is for! YAYE!

First I have a spring bunting/banner/garland.... Cut each one out and punch holes at the top of each one on each side and string your twine or garland through :)

Weekly Roundup + Pinterest LOVE !!!

Good Morning! It's Sunday!!! That means it's time for the weekly roundup! Woohoo! Here are some of my favorite ideas from Pinterest! And then a few favorite companies coupons!

We'll start off with the coupons....

This has got to be my first favorite idea! And can you believe even with all my drawers and drawers of punches I still do not have a square punch! Seriously! I have a scalloped square... lol.... But that won't work!

And how about this! They have used wrapping paper as a table runner! How neat is that idea!

And how about this idea! I just love it! I went looking this weekend for a central location where we can have a dry erase board along with a corkboard for all our important stuff. Yes, even chores :) I didn't find anything that I liked. I am not "cheap" but I hate spending alot of money on things like this, so I think I am going to make one. I have an old frame a little larger than this that will work great. It has a wooden frame. And then the corkboard that I already have has a wooden frame so I will paint them to match :) Wallah!!! This is HERE. Under the glass of the frames she laid strips of scrapbooking paper and then added circle punches + letter stickers. You will be able to write on these with a dry erase marker!

Can you believe this used to be an old TV set?!

Hey everybody! Today we are having two posts :) The first one was for the jewelry box turned into an "album" and memory keeping..... In case you missed that post, you can find it here...

Now onto this post. Free printable recipe cards! They measure 4 inches by 6 inches. I was looking at all my cookbooks and thinking how nice it would be to have everything coordinated. Now I am not the chef or baker of my family. That would be the man of the house and the upcoming li'l lady :) But I still want everything to look cute and neat :)

Here's a little recipe card with buntings in the background. Bold vintage inspired font....

This one is with black and white....

There's also a pink bunting recipe card and a teal bunting recipe card....

This one is a nice simple design, with room for alot of writing....

This one is pink....

And these recipe cards are the same as the ones above but in grey and teal....

Here's another vintage inspired recipe card.... Has a circle label to the left with a vintage inspired fun font....

I also created the above recipe cards in different colors...

Pink, Teal, Black + White and then Sepia....

The design is VERY light sepia....

The beginnings of a jewelry box turned into Memory Altered Album

Well as I was was saying on facebook, I hustled to get all orders out so I can play around a little bit. I am happy and blessed to have so many customers and orders but I really had to start this project too, so all it took was a little time management :)

I will be posting photos along the way, as I go, with updates and I will do this until I am finished! I painted the inside of this jewelry box, the "velvet" with a teal or aqua shade of blue. I have watered down the paint making the fabric still soft to the touch. It works great making the fabric soft to the touch still, without having that hard paint feel. The only "downfall" is if you're an impatient crafter like me and can NOT wait for things to dry, lol.

Here is my (well made) but older jewelry box, found at a yard sale 2 summers ago!! It's been dying to be part of a project and I have been waiting for the right one. This is definitely it! I think I paid 50 cents for it! LOL.

For the paint mixture, this is what I did....

Mixed 1 part paint to 1 part water. I think I even added just a touch bit more water, to make it more of a watercolor. This keeps the fabric soft to the touch, while still being colored. It's like creating almost of a stain.

Random Vintage Images, Digi Stamps and Textures

There is absolutely NO method to my madness today! LOL.... It's just a little bit of everything.

Here are some neat rulers. I've had this ruler for awhile now. Like a long while, lol. I also made it in a few other colors. This is a ruler collage sheet, so simply click on any part of the rulers and then when it opens in a new window, right click and choose save as.

Here are some neat old magazine ads. They lockets or pendants. I LOVE the old looks. I always remember being a little girl and going to yard sales and getting all excited when I would find old things like this. I am pretty sure that I got that from my Dad. Saturdays always meant yardsaling. It was always fun. I STILL love yard sales, thrift shops, etc. and my kids who are 9 and 10 LOVE to go with me.

We've Moved Address Cards Custom Order

I figured I would create a few new etsy banners and avatars to go along with the new upcoming season.... SPRING! We're seeing it everywhere now.... We might still have snow or cold weather, but there is spring popping up everywhere and I figured it was a good time to start up a few spring colored and themed sets....

I hope you find one that you can use. These would also make cute dividers for your blog! They measure 760 x 100 making them a great size for most blogs and if you want, you can always crop them or resize them too! :)

And if you find one that you really like, but don't have an etsy shop, they could be printed and used as labels on our mini albums, scrapbooks and journals!

Good Monday Morning! Kids are home this week so I got to sleep in this morning! woohoo! :) A whole 8:30! lol. I then got up, had my cup (cups!!) of coffee and then taught Mackenzie how to make eggs. She's 9 and has a real desire to cook. She loves it. She can make an awesome steak. However, I wish she would start remembering to tell people when she talks that she cooks WITH me and not by herself. lol. When she goes to school and says "I made a steak dinner last night" I wonder if the teachers are wondering where her mother was, lol. I'm here! I'm here! :) Usually I sit there and work on my orders while supervising. Well, this morning I made a few decorated thread spools to print out and add to a project that I have in mind. I am sharing my template and then I am sharing a few fun designs that I digitally made.

Here's the template. I will show you the all black one that I made (this is the one I use for when I am using the layers and the magic wand)...

And how about a few altered spools? They are all the same size as the templates, but I am displaying them smaller in the blog for easy viewing. If you click on the download button, it will open it in a new window. Then you will right click and choose "Save As." **Remember where you save them so you can go back later and retrieve them**.

We had a little snow, a walk and how about a few (free) labels

This is my daughter Mackenzie on our little walk. DJ is at his sleepover tonight so it was just her, me and Dad. We went to the store to get some brownie mix and ice cream.... Yes, that was our dessert tonight. We were getting HUGE snowflakes and I just had to go for a walk in it :)

I've been looking through all my items and realize that I totally need some more labels. Simple labels. Basic shapes where I can write on, stamp on, etc. So I decided to make a few for you too to share :)

There are a few different uses for these labels. You can add them to your photos like I did above, print them out and use in your scrapbooking or journaling, etc. I did these in light colors.

I am Rockin' And Rollin' Today on the TO DO list! Woot Woot! AND I got a roast in the oven. I am really proud of myself today, lol. Usually by this time I'm frazzled. I like to do everything and get stressed when I can't. lol. I know I am not the only Mom like that. I've calmed down quite a bit. I think it's just my creative soul. I'm always thinking about what to do next. I'd take a few more hours a day please :D Well today I got some free vintage images and digi stamps. I hope you find some that you can use :)

Here is an old image of a sweet family playing music together.

A sweet ad for an opera. I can't translate this, but it's definitely unique and artistic none the less. I love the little babies sleeping below and all her pearls too!

Here's a neat little ad. I like the life preserver.... I took out the lady in the middle in case you'd like to have the center all for yourself :)

Here is an old photo, and it has the photographers information as well with it. I like the design with the frame and made the center the same shade of cream all the way, so you can print and use as a frame, journaling card, etc.

I also created her in some fun colors! We have teal, pink, black + white, sepia, brown and purple.

~Free~ Stationary with Crows and Roses, Variety of Colors

Well, I had quite the BUSY day today! Wooooo-weeeeeeeeeeee.... So, here I am, it's midnight and I am finally posting :) I still have to clean up the kitchen and get that good ol' coffee pot ready to go off for the morning. Needless to say, I am putting up some free printable stationary for you :) I will have the link to the free printable envelopes that I have shared below on the bottom of this post...

This paper is pretty. I love the little chair. Like you're thinking and sitting and writing to them :) There are also roses on the tape and pink along the edges. You can cut inside it if you don't like the pink....

These all measure 8 1/2 by 11 inches, so you can print these on regular copy paper and they will fit.

This one has a crow in the corner (Thanks to the Graphic Fairy) and ornate corners with the frame. This one is done in black and white. The one below is done in Sepia along with a little hint of turquoise/aqua around the flowers. They are both lined, making it easy to write nice neat notes. A guide is always handy. I have a tendency of always writing upwards. BAD. lol. Maybe that means I am optimistic :D

Then these are roses... Pretty roses. I faded out the roses, within the layer, so you will be able to print and still write over them with the writing still being able to be legible. There's a few different colors for you to use.

Have you seen the new goods?!

Have you seen some of the new goods?! And there's more coming too! I'm really excited! Spring is on the way, we'll all be out and about and photos are going to be plentiful to say the least. This is usually where my layouts are set up for 6 photos instead of 3 or even 4, lol. I've been dying to make a new mini album for the website, but I just haven't been able to squeeze in the time. Customer's orders come first :D but a few of these things I've made and listed on the website are also sitting in a stash (yes, I stamped a few extra for me, heehee) and they will be going in my album when I'm ready!! Well todays post is dedicated to Vicki! She emailed me a bunch of goodies to play with and I'm creating all different things with them for you :) Isolating some of the images so you can use them, etc. I don't know the copyright issues on these, meaning, I don't know if you can use them commercially, etc. but for sharing with you and for personal use is fine :) I didn't research the catalog at all, but I assume that since it is obviously out of production, you would be okay. But that's totally up to you to find, lol. I don't know where to begin. If you have any resources that would help you (or me) please share. I'm always looking for new stuff and how I would be able to use them.

Alice in Wonderland Themed Party Goodies

Well I mentioned before on facebook that I was working on a custom order for an Alice in Wonderland themed party.... I had to get this order out so I took a few pictures really quick with my phone (yes, I know, it is NOT photography, lol) but in order to score brownie points I did try to "perk" up the photos a little bit, lol.

{Free♥} Printable Mini Album

I've created a free printable mini album. The pages measure 3 1/2 inches by 6 1/2 inches. They have different tabs making them great to flip. Also, if you want to make this "double" you just start the tabs all over again in succession. You can either start with the tab at the top or the tab at the bottom. Try to think where you will have your major embellishments and focal point on the cover. For example, if you are going to have your focal point be a large flower at the top with the stems or leaves going down, you'd want to have your tabs start at the bottom and work their way up.

Here are the album pages. Feel free to alter them any way you want!!! Change the colors, etc. I've tried to give a variety of colors so you can mix and match for the feel you would like :)

And here are some "filler" papers if you'd like to use some inbetween the tabs for journaling or you can add your own tabs to these (*Hint, you will find some down below..... ) They measure 3 inches wide so they will not interfere with the tabs....

How about a few photo mats, journaling spots or embellishments? Yes please! :D

And I'm pretty proud of my li'l ones. I stamped the designs that they chose but they strung their own tags and finished their goody bags. They picked everything out themselves and they're "Big Kids" now :) Here's their goody bags..... My android takes "not so hot" photos, so I added a little bling to dress them up instead today....

Happy Monday!!! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend! :) It was really nice here. I spent the entire weekend with the family. We didn't do too much crazy stuff, just hung around, did a little shopping at good ol' Wally World, etc. but it was nice and much needed stop to the work for a minute. I usually work through the weekends too, on orders, and the kids are usually busy doing other things but they really wanted to hang out with Mom and Dad so we did everything together. Right down to laundry. lol. Here we are Monday morning and the week begins all over again. Hugged and kissed the kids, sent them off to school and started making my rounds here online. Answering emails, etc. Definitely am making myself a to do list so I can stay on track though, lol.

Well, after the kiddos went to bed last night I decided to start working on today's post..... I have a few vintage-y :) tags and a few for the kiddos in case you're like me and finishing up the goody bags tonight for their wonderful event in school tomorrow....

And just in case you're like me, and think you're doing great on time but realize that valentine's day is tomorrow and you forgot labels or valentine's for your kids, here are a few last minute ones that I made. I will be using these, but I will probably just add in my kids names (either Daryll or Mackenzie)... I tried to be pretty neutral on the tags.... Making them work for either a little girl or a little boy. I have a boy and a girl so everything in my house is split down the middle :) I might as well have twins. They're only 10 months apart (Mackenzie was a preemie, so she was a little early making the difference pretty close) and I still remember pouring them a glass of milk when they were really tiny and having to look at the cups sideways to make sure they had the same amount. lol. Or they both had the same color lolli or same size pancake, lol.

I'm at it again. I seriously need to go through all my digital stuff. I've had things accumulating on here for years now and some I've already used, some I don't need anymore and others I just want to share.... Some of the ones below I've also changed up and altered for you to make them even more fun. Such as the 201 capsules. I've changed the colors from the originals to the teal blue and the brown. And the other three (other than the original) are overlays too in case you'd like to layer these on your own favorite solid color (or simple print) paper....

I love this camera so much I just HAD to make it in a few different colors!!! There's a collage below with all the colors!

Okay, I get creative at night time when the kids go to bed. I create random things, practice my graphic skills, try new things, etc. Well, in turn that "dump" folder I have on my desktop can accumulate pretty quickly. So in turn, every now and then we may have days where I will have 2 posts :D This is one of those days....

I have four 12 x 12 papers for you. 3 are just me having fun and the other one's theme is based on Pantone's Color of the year for 2012. They would be tangerine, that deep teal (woohoo for me!) and then a touch of bright (yet not too tacky, lol, no neon's here) pink....

These timelines will fit perfectly.... and since facebook is going to be making ALL of us have one shortly (eventually rather) we might as well start planning to have a cute cover photo! :)

I really liked the first one that I made and decided to play around with the coloring.... Therefor there are several different options for you.... This is the first one that I made. The rest are variations.... There are 11.

This one really focuses more on the pinks and rose colors

I wouldn't be me if I didn't have a teal colored one :D

This one is all about the focal only on the pinks.... Love the way the color stands out....

This one is the same concept as above but with a little bit more.... I also have the corner frame to the left stand out which will really make that corner photo look awesome :)

Focusing on the teals and blues....

This one is a little more muted than the original....

I love the greens and purples on this one!

And this one is done with purples....

Besides teal and brown together, I really love pink and brown together...

And then this one is done in just black and white which would work for a template if you'd like to add your own touches of color here and there. Or to only have the cover center photo in color to stand out more.....

This first one has BINGO cards, two postage stamps, a couple bingo chips and a receipt.

The postage stamps are transparent, so they will work great in your altered art, layering, etc.

Here are two more bingo ards. I love the leaves at the top. The first one on the left is transparent and the one on the right is on a white background....

I love the vintage red on these BINGO cards! The first one has a transparent background and the second one is the original image that I cleaned the first one up from....

And here's a neat one for collages... This vintage camera is really neat... I also isolated just the camera and even took out all the white making it 100% transparent for you to use in case you'd like to change the background paper.

Brother.... Something to be proud about

My brother graduated today and I'm really proud of him so this post is dedicated to him! We are 12 years apart in age and he's still so much a little baby to me even though he's bigger than me and can probably throw me over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes! lol. We had lunch during his break right before Christmas and I was in "awww" the entire time listening to him and talking with him. It's amazing how determined and focused he is. I was truly impressed. He is headed to Alaska. He's moving up left and right and I'm just so proud! He's a weapons specialist and WANTS to jump out of planes! To me, that's just crazy, but then again, I'm not a soldier (or brave in general, lol). Here's a picture of him in his uniform.... So handsome!!

Well, I'm really proud of you Gregg and I love you VERY much! You are the best little (BIG) brother!

And with all this brotherly love, I feel inclined to share some goodies for you!!! Want to make a brother blog post? Maybe make a scrapbook page? Here they are for you! I did them collage style so they'll be easier to
