Friday morning! Recipe cards & It's almost the weekend.... Are we crafting?!

Hi! Well, it's friday. this is the day I try to get everything that I really want to get done before my little ones are home all weekend from school... Do you have a special crafting day? Well, yesterday, I got busy creating these recipe cards...

Set of 25 Vintage Inspired Recipe Cards Pink Shabby Sweet Eco Friendly
Set of 25 Vintage Inspired Recipe Cards Pink Shabby Sweet Eco Friendly
They are recycled index cards so they are eco friendly. They are a darker pink shade and I have inked all the edges also. At the top is stamped with "From the Kitchen of" and on the right hand corner is the category. The category stamped is also stamped on the back.
All cards are different. They measure 3 inches tall by 5 inches wide.

 There are 4 styles...
-There's cards for baked goods (cupcakes, cakes, sweets, etc)
-There's cards for vegetables (side dishes, etc)
-There's cards for Beverages (hot, cold, drinks, etc.)
-There's cards for Meats

On the back those dots made my hand tired, lol. I wasn't sure if I was going to able to finish.
It was a 2 inch wide stamp with dots (a journaling style stamp) and I had to do it two times per line, and there are 9 lines.  So I ended up stamping 450 times! lol.... About halfway through I was thinking, "what did I get myself into." But I finished & they look delightfully vintage I think.

What will you be crafting this weekend? Please share with us :) We would love to hear. If you have a url or photo, share that also! I will be working on a "Precious Miracle" layout per a customers request.

Talk with you all a little later!

Shabby and Gorgeous Two Page Layout for a Girl ......Paper Pieced Dance Ballerina Pink Rose

My two little Ballerina girls....
I have handmade both their tutu's! And do you see the little pearls on their shoes?
Shabby and Gorgeous Two Page Layout for a Girl ......Paper Pieced Dance Ballerina Pink Rose
The first page has two sewn photo mats. Gorgeous print from K & Company. I put pretty flowers adorning every photo mat. The one on the left has two gold glittery shimmery layered flowers with brad centers. It has a pink grosgrain ribbon running up and down. Photo will slide easily behind that. Above that is a little ballet recital book. There is the word "love" attached to that ribbon, so you will see this placed over your photo. Below that is the embellishment that I created that reads "Dance" with chipboard letters, matted onto a shabby print, and then matted again onto textured cardstock. Edges have been inked for dimension & for detail in chocolate. There are swirls, rhinestones, flowers, & the leaves are this really pretty texture fabric. Next to that is a 3 D chipboard journal box. The outside is popped off the page with pearls & inking & a flower applique. The part that you write on lays flat to the paper, making it easy to write. Above that is a metal charm with a design that reads "Beauty." The photo mat above that is also sewn, & has this soft feeling scalloped white lace running across. Photo will slide easily behind that lace also. Flowers at the top are accompanied by a cream crocheted doily. There's also pearls in the center of these flowers & there is a "blingy" flower. If you look at the border at the top (and bottom) they are layered with paper, ribbon& lace. I attached shabby buttons all the way across.

On the next set of pages, you have my freehand drawn little ballerinas. The borders at the top & the bottom are the same on both pages. On this page, there are two photo mats also. At the top of the first one (on the left) there are gorgeous flowers at the tops, leaves, blingy flower, & a rhinestone jewelry piece. This photo mat also has lace running across. Below that are more flowers, rhinestone jewelry piece, & a vintage feeling dancer charm. On the right is a metal rimmed circle with cream satin ribbon. There are also white feathers on this page. The second photo mat is sewn & tucked just enough under the lace border at the top. Then, there are little flowers, applique style leaf, & swirls too. The top of the photo mat has a metal embellishment that reads "Joy." Below that are one of the main focuses of the page, and that would be the two sweet ballerinas in their HANDMADE tutu's! Yes, I have hand attached each little piece of tulle, until I created two pink tutu's for the girls. They're standing near the balance bar. They're reaching up. The one girl has a rhinestone style flower in her hair, the other has pearls and a flower applique. Did you see their little shoes? Pink ballet shoes with pearls on the side. I had fun drawing these little girls. Their cheeks are rosy pink and they have cute little chubby girl legs :) There are also painted pearls at the bottom of each page, along the border, inbetween each scallop of the punches.

Thanks so much for taking a look, and if you have any questions, let me know :)

New Layout for a Happy Monday!

Happy Monday Morning. This is a double page 12 x 12 layout....

Sweet Girl holding a Bunny Paper Pieced Double Page Layout for Spring or Easter too
On the first page there are two photo mats. The one at the top has two double sided pull out tags. There are words on them, the one reads "flowers" and the other reads "spring fever." They are matted onto a pretty pastel, almost butter shade, and then I used 3 dimensional adhesive foam to make them pop off the tag, and sit sweetly above the photo mount. There are ribbon and decorative corners. The photo mat below is similar. It has two photo corners with ribbon and the others are decorative. One has a paisley corner with a pearl center. Then there is my little girl. I absolutely LOVE how she came out. that teeny tiny bunny is hand drawn and paper pieced too! She has on a pleated skirt. Everything has been inked with af/lf and archival safe ink on the edges for detail and dimension. Above her is a circle photo mat, that is layered, scalloped and adorned with pretty hand embossed flowers that I made. next to her is a little journaling box. She has lacy little socks too. And there are glittery swirls around the flowers.

I have included a photo of the tags from both pages, so you can see. The larger ones have the same prints on the other side, too.

On the next page, there are two photo mats, and they have ribbon running across. Your photos will slide easily behind the ribbon. At the top of the first photo mount is a little envelope with 3 tags. They are the smaller ones that you see in the photo. The one I stamped with the key and the word "discover", the second says "love" and the other one says "Bursting with color." Then I created a pretty journaling box. It is smooth lilac colored cardstock. You can even use this as a photo mount if you would like, because the ribbon isn't attached, and your photo will slide easily behind it. And it would look cute with the heart charm also. There are 3 dimensional flowers, that I embossed, and the leaves of the flowers are not attached. Above that photo mount/journaling box, it reads "Stop and Smell the Flowers." On the ribbon on the second mount, you can see that it says "cute."

Thanks for taking a peek! If you do have any questions, just send me a message at or comment below :)
