It's amazing how awesome you feel when you get a sale! It's similar to validation. You put so much thought and care into creating your items and when people purchase them, it makes you feel so good :)



I try to list a new item everyday so I am current. Still like talking to people to find out how they keep themselves afloat. There are truly so many talented and wonderful people on etsy, it makes it hard to stand out sometimes. Pictures I've noticed are just so very important.

Chatting

Well, I started in an etsy chatroom tonight and that was interesting. There's rules and everything. lol. I was able to talk with a really few nice people and get some real human answers! People who have been there, done that and know what works. It was fun. Now it's time for bed, so I can lay there and dream about what to make tomorrow :)

My first black friday/cyber monday with etsy

Well, this is my first black friday/cyber monday with etsy. I thought I would've done much better... but I guess this is all part of being new. I have so much to learn. I have learned how important tagging your product is. You really have to know who is looking for your items and what people are using for search terms. I am sure there is one out there, but I need to know where to find the most commonly used search terms this time of year. If anyone knows, please leave a post to tell me :) Thanks so much!
