Printable Christmas Paper, Elf On The Shelf

I designed some paper for my sister and her elf on the shelf ... Well, the elf on the shelf for my niece and nephew... I thought it was cute and maybe someone else would want to use it, so I am sharing it :)
The gray on the border does not print, it's a "blogger" thing why it's doing that! LOL.....

Hope everyone is having a great holiday season!

Free Printable Butterfly Tags with Frame Design

What a weekend... Happily busy :) Actually "worked" a little this weekend inbetween family stuff and today was my FIRST baby's birthday!! He's 11 now and he's at that age where he kind of does his own thing... I think this is the first birthday that he really didn't spend much time with me, lol... Friends, new games and stuff kept him pretty busy... I let him be and do his own thing and be happy... We did "kidnap" him though for a birthday dinner at his favorite restaurant for his birthday dinner ;) Kids grow so fast these days it seems... 11 isn't the same 11 when I was a kid... I wish they would stay small forever...

Tonight's freebie is butterflies... They have a distressed background and a slight scroll frame around...

Daughter's 10th Birthday And FREE Mother's Day Printable Card!!

Well, my daughter's birthday was Tuesday... We had it fall on Mother's Day one year which was really cool... It didn't this year, but it did fall on "Kid's Night" at their FAVORITE buffet place... Notice the balloon crown :D (my son got a sword, I don't want him to read this and see I forgot him! LOL) ---

This is my daughter... Notice her sweatshirt? Yes, another "you're so smart Mom!" moment.... Apparently her dress that she picked out for her special day was too cute to wear a coat or a sweatshirt until we got there and realized she was freezing.... Thank goodness Mom's always cold and has an extra sweatshirt in the truck at all times! haha!

And that's my day... We ended up doing a little shopping too!!!!!

And now we are onto Mother's Day... It's coming.... I hope I scored some brownie points with her birthday! HAHA... Kids asked me what I want for Mother's Day... I said "clean bedrooms." They asked if they could make me breakfast instead, lol... Mind you, their rooms aren't bad at all, I'm just picky :D

Here's a free printable Mother's Day Card for you to print and use!
**Hint**
Print two out, then cut out a few of the details and use pop dots to give your card a dimensional feel.
You can also add flowers, a little stickles and more to give it a little flair!

Brother.... Something to be proud about

My brother graduated today and I'm really proud of him so this post is dedicated to him! We are 12 years apart in age and he's still so much a little baby to me even though he's bigger than me and can probably throw me over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes! lol. We had lunch during his break right before Christmas and I was in "awww" the entire time listening to him and talking with him. It's amazing how determined and focused he is. I was truly impressed. He is headed to Alaska. He's moving up left and right and I'm just so proud! He's a weapons specialist and WANTS to jump out of planes! To me, that's just crazy, but then again, I'm not a soldier (or brave in general, lol). Here's a picture of him in his uniform.... So handsome!!

Well, I'm really proud of you Gregg and I love you VERY much! You are the best little (BIG) brother!

And with all this brotherly love, I feel inclined to share some goodies for you!!! Want to make a brother blog post? Maybe make a scrapbook page? Here they are for you! I did them collage style so they'll be easier to

These have transparent backgrounds which in turn makes them AWESOME digi stamps :D Woot! Woot!

I hope you enjoy!!! XOXO

Farewell to School Cupcake Toppers!

It is the beginning of summer, and for my kids, that ends in 3 days!!!! This Thursday is their last day. I have to admit, I love them being home for the summer. Even if we don't do anything special, I just like having them talk, listening to their little kid ideas and thoughts and sometimes even being in the same room together, drawing or painting, etc. I am SOOO looking forward to summer vacation!

Well, my son promptly reminded me as soon as he got home from school today that he would really like me to make 24 cupcakes for the last day of school. Now, I can't frost a cupcake pretty to save my life {{{trust me, they're horrible! lol}}} so I rely bigtime on cute cupcake toppers. That way all I have to do is frost them "normally" and then add the toppers to make them cute!

I created a free printable that I will be using also! I am attaching these to flat wooden toothpicks. Only on one side. Simple for the 9 year olds. I don't think they'll pay too much attention to detail, but I do want them to look festive. lol.

Here is the free printable. It looks rather large, but I want to make sure that they print the correct size for you. I have it set to print out 8 x 10.

They say "Have a Great Summer!"
Happy Baking and hope you all have a great start to the summer!!!!

Me and My Family Camping! For the first time!

Okay, so yesterday we were thinking of what to do. Somewhere we came up with the idea that we would go camping. Let me tell you first that I HATE bugs and most things found in nature. I am not a princess, I just don't like things that crawl. lol. So, I said "Ok" because the kids do need those memories of camping. We called a place (we are looking for a better place next time. It was okay, but I wasn't impressed) and with it being Memorial Day weekend, our choices were VERY limited. Now if you live in NY, you know the Adirondacks...... I LOVE Tupper Lake, Blue Mountain Lake, etc. and that general area, so that's where we headed. Well, since we never went camping before, we bought a tent, and we needed a new grill for the summer anyways, food, etc, all along the way with two 9 year olds in the back seat. Walmart was SO busy when we went to buy the grill, it took a half an hour to grab a grill (they had NO tents left!!!) and leave. None the less, we are on the road... traveling..... in the pouring rain..... I'm driving the truck..... (we shared driving). Which is fine, because when you're in the passenger seat, kids can get annoying :D (I mean that in a loving way)..."Mom, can I have a drink, can I have a snack, I have to go to the bathroom, Mackenzie's looking at me funny, are we there yet?" Yes, you know what I mean. So here are a few photos of our adventure. yes, I've learned a few things. Like bring a flashlight. lol. Hey, it's my first time! (I printed a checklist offline for future reference). The one thing I did remember is to make sure that the kids wore old clothes so they could have fun & we could throw them away if we had to when we got home. Which, with all the rain & mud, we most likely will, lol.
Yes, I am sitting in the truck while they set up the tent :)
Getting the fire started. The "fire pit" they bragged about on the website wasn't the same when we went, lol
Dinner was GOOD! :D
We brought the kids bikes (compliments of Dad's idea!)
DJ taking a break.... (Mom forgot chairs! LOL- I said I printed out a checklist for next time!)
Dad and Dj hanging out :)
It's 5am here.... Where's the coffee? We're packing up and heading out home while the rain briefly stopped
See the sky? This is why we headed home. That's Tupper Lake in the Adirondacks.

Yah, they were pretty tuckered out :D This is us heading home
Heading down the road :) Off we go home

Hope your memorial day isn't as rainy as ours. It's sunny in our hometown and this neck of the woods now.
