It measures 6 inches by 6 inches. It's completely been hand aged, distressed and has a vintage doily. It has a shabby vintage feel to it.
On the cover, I have handdrawn and then watercolored a girl. I have also used chalk and a little pencil. She is muted as far as color to go along with the vintage look. There's also a vintage lace doily underneath her, which is sewn. Then there is also the backing, which is sewn for detail. I have also curled the edges & hand aged them. There's leaves, sequins and pearls too. On the bottom right is a mother's quote that reads A Mother is she who can take the place of all others, but whose place no one else can take. There's also a silver little bird charm below it. It reminded me of Mother's because that's where we begin. Our nest. Our home.
